Merritt Canteen needs a new theme song and what better way to select one than to have our visitors decide. Take a second to listen to each entry then vote for what you think deserves to be the herald of our brand. You may only vote once, so make it count!

Thank you for your participation in making the Merritt Canteen Jingle a very exciting contest. Due to the large response we were forced to create rules and a system for the contest in the attempt to make the contest and judging as fair as possible.

Place your vote either on MerrittCanteen.com or place a ballot in person at Merritt Canteen located at 4355 Main Street Bridgeport, CT 06606, All votes placed on facebook until 12/8/10 will be counted; all votes after the 12/8/10 on facebook will not. There is only one vote per person online and one vote per visit at the restaurant. The contest entries will be accepted till Christmas Eve Dec 24th at 11:59pm!

All winners will be announced on the Merritt Canteen facebook page after all votes are calculated sometime on December 25th, Christmas Day.

The prizes are as followed:
1st prize $1,000.00
2nd is $200.00
3rd $100.00

All songs are submitted at will. There will be no royalties of songs submitted of any kind other than winning prize amounts. All rights will be granted to Merritt Canteen LLC, once winners have been chosen. Merritt Canteen LLC, may have changes to rhythm arrangement or lyrics. Merritt Canteen LLC will be able to reproduce audio/songs in any matter and use in any fashion without restriction.
